Each of the stories in the Joe Rock and Friends series contains a fun song that children can sing along with. The songs are in a wide variety of styles from Calypso, to a Pirate Song, to Rock. The songs invite actions and as one reviewer stated that his children spontaneously started dancing and singing along with the music. As classroom teachers, we use these songs in primary classes each week and many have become favourites with the children and we sing them time and time again.
